Type of a scam Employment
I was searching for employment online when I ran across the email for employment from the company listed above (Sviluppo Immo S.r.l.). I responded to the email and received instructions from Antonia Castellani. Supposedly the Personnel Manager of the company. No person information was required other than contact through email or phone. After receiving the assignments, I was curious a to why such a simple task would pay a great deal of money, so I began to try to find out if the company was legitimate. I found a few sights on the internet but nothing concrete. I decided I would try to find out exactly what my employment was about so I followed the instruction as given. When the first task was given, and I had to receive a check for payment then forward the majority of the money (1750.00) to the next person, it was then I decided this was maybe indeed a scam. I was to keep a commission of 200.00.Still unsure, I did not deposit the check into my personal account because I was to deposit the check then withdraw the money the next day. This made me think the check would not be honored if I withdrew the funds from my account and forward the CASH to another party via USPS. I copied most of the correspondence into a word document in case I needed to report this company.
