Type of a scam Employment
I received an email from "human resources" saying they found me through a hiring agency offering me a job at a shipping service. The company is hiring "agents" to package items and mail them. The position reimburses "agents" for their expenses and pay a monthly stipend of 2500 plus $25 per package. It sounds like easy money, so you I accept the job.
I signed and dated an Employment Agreement. I picked a payment method (PayPal, Company Check, or Direct Deposit) I sent my bank info for Direct Deposit. I also sent a scan of my ID (they gave option of Passport, ID,or
DL).
Afterwards my first assignment arrives. I’m requiredto ship something – often electronics, clothing, and accessories- to an address domestically. I send off the items and am told I’ll be paid a month after my first shipment. It’s been a month… But I’m never paid and my emails are being ignored.
