Type of a scam Phishing

I receive multiple calls a day from automated 800 numbers saying my social security number has been suspended due to suspicious behavior and to press 1 to know more. I ignore them because I assume they are phishing.

Caller said my social was compromised in Texas- and that they were to suspend my social. When I asked to speak to a manager with my attorney present- knowing it was a scam- the caller became hostile.

Complainant received a call from someone who claimed to be from the Social Security Administration. The voice message was not clear but the complainant heard the caller say something about being from the Social Sec. Admin. and mentioned about suspending their social security and notifying a magistrate and a federal offense.

The complainant did not return the phone call.

I received an automated phone call telling me that my social security will be suspended because of illegal activity. It left a number for me to call back. I called on another number and they answered the phone hello. I said I thought this was the social security administration and he said no and then started cursing at me and told me he was going to blow my house up if I did not hang up. It was actually quiet comical because I knew it was a scam. I don’t receive social security benefits but for an elderly person that does this could be quiet terrifying.
