Type of a scam Tech Support
I received an email saying it was urgent that I call them, to protect my online identity. I called. A representative said that my Google business page was unprotected and that anyone could change or take my identity unless I paid them to fix the problem and guard my data.
The cost? $395
I gave my credit card info, then hesitated and said I had to think about it.
i called my IT guy who said, ‘Don’t do it.’ Rip-off.
