Total money lost $590

Type of a scam Online Purchase

The Web site was advertising mini doxie puppies for sale with free shipping. I contacted the person via email and made arrangements to purchase a female puppy named April. I Made payment of $590. through Western Union on Sunday with the puppy to ship the next day. I was told that he had free shipping vouchers and that there was a $50 charge if they brought the pup to my home but I said I would pick it up at the airport. On Monday morning I Was contacted by the breeder who claimed to be at the airport with the pup and I was going to get an email from a company named Starpetsanimalrelocators.com stating that the puppy was at the airport but would not ship her in the crate she was brought in with that I that I would have to purchase a thermal crate for her at the price of $1098. that I was to send the money via western union to a guy named Rayan Hoever who was at the same address as the breeder. When the puppy was delivered to me that I would get my money back. I contacted the breeder and told him that I would not purchase a crate that I would make arrangements for her to be transported by ground ,he told me no that he doesn’t do ground shipping. So I told him that he needed to refund me the money from the dog and I would find another one closer to home. He said you dont trust me? and that all I needed to do was pay for the crate. I told him no and that I was not comfortable with this transaction and I wanted a refund on my money. He hung up on me. I called him back and had to leave a voice message that time. I later in the day emailed him and asked if my refund had been issued yet and haven’t heard a word from him. I also spoke with the guy that was supposed to be at the airport holding the dog and he just said I had to pay the fee for the crate. Both of these [censored] didn’t speak English very well and was very hard to understand. I’m furious and heartbroken.
