This convention vendor advertises for local workers via craigslist to work at ComicCons and other conventions selling tshirts and swag. Unfortunately they do not pay the workers as promised. After over 30 hrs of work the promised rate of $10-13 hr, the victim was given as $7/hr. They take advantage of people needing jobs, work them for 12 hr shifts and then don’t pay them, provide them with hydration (as promised), or keep them informed of pay reductions.
