Similar to the above stories. Sandra scammed me for $316. She keeps charging my Paypal account. I have had to close my Paypal credit account to keep her from stealing from me. I hope this is the end of it. Close your account, credit, bank account, or Sandra will charge you $158 EVERY four months. She says she will close your account, but does not. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MODERN FIT. If you have signed up for this, CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT WHERE SHE IS TAKING THE MONEY. She WILL keep stealing from you.

I had the same experience. I initially wanted to try out the 7 day free trial, and they put you off long enough that they make it past the 7 day trial having not provided any services as well as continue to charge you well past canceling your service. I am arguing with them currently because I was just charged again. I have paid this site $317 and have received nothing in return. Stay as far away from this company as possible. I have disputed all the charges to no avail. Pay pal was no help, and because of paypals rules and regulations my bank wont reverse the charge, despite having communication from the company stating that the account was canceled. STAY AWAY!

When I first signed up for this, I didn’t receive anything. It took me some digging to find a place to request help and finally heard from my “coach” Sandra Nguyen who said she sent the program and would resend. Said my 7 days was restarted. I looked at the food and found it was not specialized enough and emailed for a change. Received new recipes that still had items I stated I couldn’t eat. Also, they’re a big sell on exercise at any level of fitness and customization for health needs, but it was a bunch of standard exercises that I couldn’t use with both bad knees. I wanted to cancel, but the app has no cancel subscription option, no customer service, no contact us, no copy of the terms of service…nothing! I got charged and even though I reached out the day of the charges, I am being refused a refund of any kind…not even prorated. I don’t remember seeing ANYTHING listing the full price after the 7-day trial and was shocked to see $158 taken out of my account! The program is worthless and they don’t care about people, only money. DON’T FALL FOR IT!

I signed up for a $1, 7 day trial from this “company” as advertised on Facebook. “Sandra” the company rep, sent me an email containing only a username and no invoice. I waited a few days to create my account on their app, then cancelled within 7 days. However, I saw an unauthorized charge of $158 USD ($225 CAD) on my credit card bill. Apparently, there is a fee for cancellation and I had somehow signed up for a 4 month workout plan that I wasn’t made aware of. Sandra told me the date of the trial began on the day she sent me the email, which is ridiculous. Also, there is nothing that explains the charge and their product fee on the terms & conditions. Due to the lack of information and no invoice, I was unable to dispute this charge with MasterCard. The scammers knew what they were doing. So I hope to warn others from falling into their trap.

I am currently in an argument with a modern fit, as I never received any services. it is day seven and they’ve charged me claiming it is past the seven-day trial which I purchased for a dollar. I was told id have a plan emailed to me within 24 hours, and now they are ignoring my emails. I am in Canada so what is 158 USD is 220 cad. They are refusing to address the issue of my lack of service. I even contacted them through their site before they charged me, asking for a cancellation and nothing. A [censored]ing useless company that scams vulnerable people out of there money.

BEWARE! The worst! They charged my account before the money back guarantee/cancelation date was due. I pointed this out to them and they refused to refund the money they basically stole. Sandra Nguyen didn’t reply to emails and was totally unconcerned that they stole money by charging my account. I complained to PayPal and was denied a refund. This company STINKS!

my advice beware scammed out of over 2oo.oo dollars. Took the money form my account with out notice of cost. It doesnt matter how long over trial period it could be just a day and they charge you for 4 months.

I signed up for the trial and tried to cancel before my trial ended as I was not convinced it would work for me. Was told by my “coach” that I couldn’t be refunded for the four months’ charge. Since then, I have not heard from them after repeated attempts to contact. I have also logged into the app and the “personalized fitness and meal plan” as seen in the trial email is nowhere to be found. Complete scam.

I signed up for a 7 day trial for a nutrition plan and workouts. This was $1. I decided after reading the initial email that it wasn’t the plan for me. So the very next day I utilized the “contact us” feature on their website. I filled it out and submitted it. I got no reply as indicated I would. I submitted another by day three after initial trial day. Same thing. No reply. One week after I signed up, I see they’ve charged my bank account. I was able to send an email back to the initial trainer who basically said they never received a cancellation and “sorry about that” but they refuse to refund my money. Multiple emails back and forth and I am still refused my refund. I’ve submitted additional messages on their website and the only other way to contact them at this point is via Facebook, and I’ve submitted messages there as well with no response.
