So glad I checked this out, remember – if it’s too good to be true it probably is!
Here is another RV AD, and the email correspondence I received:
https://rvs.autotrader.com/rvs/1999/beaver/marquis/300249750
Please find all pictures attached to this email ! As I told you in my first email, my husband died in a car accident and I’ve suffered some bad injuries. After the accident, I moved to my daughter, in Tacoma WA for recovery and hopefully a new life. The RV is also in Tacoma and for the sale I’m using WA Global Logistics, Inc. services for shipping and escrow. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3-5 days. You will have 5 days to try out and if by any reason you find something you don’t like about it you can send it back on my expense. If you are interested in knowing more info about how the whole process works, I can ask WA Global Logistics to send you an email with more information on how to purchase it. WA Global Logistics will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this deal.
If you are serious about buying the RV, please reply with your full name, shipping address and phone number so I can register the deal with WA Global Logistics. After that they will send you the contract and the invoice. There you should have more details about payment, shipping and insurance and will explain better the entire procedure.

Hello Nicole. Thank you for the reply and I’m sorry to hear about your recent troubles. My wife and I are Definitely interested your motor home. I was going to take a look at a similar model in Florida but my wife likes the layout and decoration of yours better. Would it be possible to schedule an inspection? Also, how firm are you on the price? The other one I was looking at is $11,000. If it passes inspection I could pick it up this weekend and pay cash.
Please let me know and I will make the necessary arrangements.
Thank you.
PS you can also text me at 3***** if you would like. Email is fine as well.
Thank you,

It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident. The title is in my name and is clear. I am selling it at this final price of $14,500 because I need the money asap. My husband died 2 months ago (we had a car accident) and I had a throat & brain surgery, I’m selling our RV so I can be able to recover myself (physically & mentally). That’s the reason why I want to sell it asap and my last price is $14,500 including delivery to your home address.

Thanks for the quick response. We are still interested but haven’t used escrow before for a purchase and read the good and the bad about it in our research today of course! Would you be able to send us the VIN number for the RV and contact for WA Global Logistics? I wasn’t able to find their website to get additional information.
Thanks for understanding! This is our first rv purchase and want to make sure we do it right. We would really love to buy it from you to enjoy with our kids!

I want to thank you for showing interest in buying my coach. Now I’m here in Seattle, WA back with my parents, after the divorce settlement. As you already know due to my work schedule as flight attendant at American Airlines I’m away most of the time and I can’t handle the deal in person. I have arranged the sale with WA Global Logistics and the coach is in their possession at their storage facility here in Washington along with all the paperwork. They will handle the shipping, the payment, and paper exchange. You have to know that for payment I have requested only secure payment method, escrow, I prefer the payment to be done using WA Global Logistics escrow & shipping services. You will have free shipping and 5 days to inspect the coach before I receive any money.
If you are interested in buying it, please reply with your full name, shipping address and a phone# so I can initiate the deal through WA Global Logistics and they will send you the invoice and the contract agreement, plus instructions on how to purchase it and how to make the payment.
Hope to hear soon from you!
With warm regards and appreciation,
Teresa
Wait, is this chick selling a Toyota Tocoma for $14k? Or a 1969 Porsche 911E? Lol, glad I did my due diligence here, although, $85k discount is warranted to do some back search… check out my screen grab, literally same email as the Toyota Tocoma above, same email but Porsche 911 where Toyota Tacoma is written, sad, already get creative! What a world we live in!

Type of a scam Online Purchase
In the Frederick News Post, Frederick Maryland, there was a classified ad for a 2014 Winnebago Aspect for $19900. Mileage on the unit was under 13,000. We called a number in the ad, 240-900-4380, which indicated it was a "text mail subscriber" and to leave a message. Two messages was left by us on this number. A third call on a different day resulted in no one answering the phone and to leave a message for the "text mail subscriber". We did receive a text from the ad indicating my mom is selling the RV and they provided an email for a Rhonda E Harrington ([email protected]) and she indicated the following:

Pictures were sent to us and they look legit. We asked Rhonda where the RV was serviced and the reply was:
Hello again Lynne ,

I called ME Expert Logistics and spoke with the man that answered the phone. He had a heavy foreign accent. I asked about the process and even looking at the unit. He indicated it was on their storage site. I was to provide my name and number to Rhonda and she would provide to them (ME Expert Logistics) and they would send a contract to us. I cannot find any information on ME Expert Logisitics anywhere on the internet other than their site.
The ad is in the Lancaster Farming (Lancaster, PA paper). My brother-in-law just called me and asked what I think.
The phone number in the ad he saw is a different number, 267-629-5349, a text-mail subscriber number. The person never answers a call or calls back. Text only.
He received replies to his questions that were word-for-word as you posted.
Also ME Expert Logistics is supposedly based in Maine, where this seller also happens to be. The address on google maps looks like it’s in the city. This is supposedly a global company that has been in business for 17 years, yet there is no other information online about them anywhere other than their website. The site is copyrighted in 2020.
The selling price is way, way too low for what they are describing. Very suspicious. Count me out.
