VVV Executives

Vincent – Oct 22, 2020

Received a text. Ignored it. Received another text. Responded that I was not interested. Then received an email. How is this legal? How did they get my phone number to text me and my email?

I also received an e-mail from VVV Executives HR Manager – "Liz" saying my application was accepted and to pick an interview time. They also included in their email "For more information about the job position please refer to the job ad to which you responded". I did not apply to any job with this company, so I do not know how they got my e-mail address. I assume LinkedIn since that’s where I’ve been applying.

The interview is a virtual Zoom interview with their CEO, but the email continues with "to be shortlisted, please submit a short video via the link below. Our management team will review your details and call to set up the next step". After not responding, I received a text and an email asking me to attend the virtual interview. I missed that as well and got another email right after that for a 3rd attempt at getting me to interview. After doing a lot investigating on the company, it seems as though I’m not alone.

**Additionally, a company called "Run.Atl" or "RunAtl.Club" happened to contact me within 15 minutes of my missed meeting with essentially the exact same stuff as VVV Executives. I did not apply to Run.Atl either. With some more investigating, I found that Run.Atl’s address is 1820 Water Place SE, Suite 275, Atlanta, GA, 30339 and VVV Executives address is 1820 Water Place South East, Atlanta, GA, 30339. I highly doubt that’s a coincidence. Beware!**

I did not apply to any job with this company, so I do not know how they got my e-mail address. The interview times (only two options) are for "A meeting with the CEO" however, to be considered for the job (apparently there are multiple openings) you must first take a video interview answering questions and submit it to the company. After not responding, I received a text and an email asking me to attend the virtual interview. After doing more digging on the company (since the website is super fake) I found this has happened to others, too.

I have had the same thing happen to me with the same company. I believe they stole my address off of LinkedIn and they are a pyramid scheme. On LinkedIn, a similar company that also reached out to me the week prior (in the same style) was also a pyramid scheme. I wouldn’t waste your time.
