I have gotten a letter from the Venos Group, LLC, as many of the others above have stated they did, trying to collect a debt owed for Prache cream. They began sending me a package every month even though I did not order anything. There was no paper with the package to indicate how to get in touch with them but I did find out from my credit card company and with difficulty canceled further packages. Each one that they had sent was paid for through my credit card so I know I had a zero balance in the end. I am now getting this letter from the Venos Group, LLC that says it is trying to collect for the Armadillo Agency, Inc. Since I know I do not owe anything, I believe this to be a scam.

I just received the same letter. I was trying to find out what this stuff looked like. I cannot remember that far back. I usually save a receipt in a file if I buy something online. I would not normally buy any cream because I make my own cream. I have dairy goats so I make a lot of things like this. I cannot find anything so far or remember seeing anything that looked like the products found on eBay. These are the only pictures that I have found so far.. After reading your notice, I really do not know if this is really a scam. Thank you

I got a mail from VENOS Group LLC in August 2020 attempting to collect $103 for anti-aging cream. This product was free based on their advertisement on Macy’s close out announcement streamed news. All you need to do is pay the shipping fee which is I think I paid approximately $12.00 because of the 2 products I selected. When I entered all the shipping info and credit card, there was no acknowledgment receipt or order receipt that popped up that is why I suspected it was a scam. I tried to visit again the site where I had seen the free products to be given away but I couldn’t find it anymore. In anyhow, after few weeks I received the items. The reason I got the products is because they’re giving it away for free as part of Macy’s closure announcement – just pay the shipping fee.

Then year after, I got this letter from VENOS Group, LLC collecting money on behalf of Armadillo Agency which I never heard of. It says I owe Armadillo Agency the amount of $103.00 for anti-aging cream.

I paid the shipping fee only because this is what they required only. The item was free as announced in the Macy’s closure news. So I was not charged at all only the shipping fee. I don’t understand why they are collecting now after a year or so. Plus, the site where you can get the product does not exist anymore. No statement of account, no receipt, no acknowledgement.

I think VENOS is a scammer.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Consumer Protection FTC: I would like to join the numerous others that have filed complaints online and directly with the Better Business Bureau regarding this ongoing scam involving all parties named on the attached fraudulent invoice (Venos Group, Armadillo Agency, Cimarron Holdings) regarding Prache anti-aging cream, dated August 4, 2020.

.

I am a disabled senior citizen, living in a low-income housing complex, suffering with stage four cancer. Mounting medical bills are my number one priority, and it is critical that I maintain my above average line of credit. To be the target of such a scam is unsettling, but to actually threaten me with submitting this fraudulent claim to credit reporting agencies, is life threatening for a woman with a terminal disease. I have no use and would never purchase, an anti-aging cream. As others, I too was misled to believe I was getting a free sample of lip gloss or eyeshadow for my daughter for the shipping cost of $1.00. This promotion was featured as a Macy’s closeout deal. I did receive a 1 oz bottle of cream (not FDA compliant) and threw it unopened in my junk drawer, shrugging it off as useless. There was no invoice or documentation provided. If they want this unsolicited $100.00 product back, they can send me a pre-postage return addressed envelope, as we are in a national pandemic and I remain homebound per medical advice. I will continue to follow-up until I feel a resolution has been reached.
