The caller got me to start my computer then took control of it by remote. He transferred me to his supervisor. His supervisor showed me where something had invaded my firewall. He then said he could fix it, then asked me for my credit card number which I gullibly gave him and agreed to pay $299.99. The thing is my computer was already protected by Norton 360. These [censored]es used aggresive sales tactics and fear to get what they wanted. Now my March budget is all screwed up sans $299.99. And I was expecting a call from my doctor’s office. What a ripoff!
