Type of a scam Employment
I was looking for a new job on Indeed.com and came across a Receiving and Shipping Clerk position. I have done shipping and receiving in the past and thought it looked like a good opportunity. After sending my resume through Indeed, I received an email from a job recruiter telling me more about the opportunity and to email their HR. I went ahead and did that and received an email back from Top Forwarder Inc. This email described the job very differently from the posting on Indeed. This email said I would work from home and receive packages to ship out to other addresses. Seemed weird at first, but after looking at their website, it looked very real. I questioned the job as soon as I saw it, but was interested if it was real or fake after looking at their site. It had good pay, but wasn’t crazy high that would flag a scam. After looking online, I saw many scams about package forwarding and knew it wasn’t real. (Also, I would like to hear back about what was done with this company. Would be nice to hear follow up to make sure they were shut down. Not sure who is able to do that).
