Type of a scam Government Grant

I initially received an instant message from a very close friend that asked me if I had heard about grants that can help with paying bills, home improvements, school loans, etc. And then my friend said that I should contact her and it could be arranged. So I contacted this Tina and she said they would need some information from me and then they could process everything and let me know. So I provided her with the information – it included my full name, full home address, sex, text phone, age, disabled or retired, monthly income, if I had a car, owned my home, did I want cash or a check, what did I do for a living and my reason for applying … I responded to all of these and then she sent me back a notice that said : CONGRATULATIONS !!!!, we got your full details and information processed in our data base. Below are the references for your grant; Your Ref#: 990078567 Batch#: 9056490602/333 Winning no: PB8701/IMF Ticket Number: 85430900-07024570000S Serial Number; 7755551111 … I was told to keep this information safe because I would need it when the check was brought to my door … At this point I texted what I thought was my friend again and she assured me it was legit … So when I received the message from Tina that explained I would receive $50,000 but I would need to pay the delivery fee before that would happen. I asked how much that was and she told me $500 … Again I messaged what I thought was my friend and was told yes she had paid the $500 and her bank had verified the money was legit. … I messaged Tina back to find out what I needed to do and she told me to go to Walgreen’s and contact her once I was there … I told her I couldn’t tonight because it was after 8pm – she then said that’s why I need you to go now and message me once you get there and I will tell you what to do … At this point I am getting a very queasy feeling that something isn’t right so I went into my messenger and texted my friend from a message I had received from her on Sunday. She didn’t answer the message so I called her and asked her about the grant and she said she didn’t send me anything like that and she knew nothing … So I told her I thought her messenger may have been hacked. She is supposed to call me when she gets off tonight so we can talk about this … I then sent a message to Tina that I couldn’t do this tonight that I could tomorrow – she asked what time and I responded that I wasn’t sure that I needed to speak with my lawyer and the police to be sure this wasn’t a scam … she replied ok … I have posted on my Facebook page that if anyone receives an offer for something that sounds too good to be real – DO NOT Respond because it’s false …
