Soarplex

Robyn – Nov 29, 2020

I was contacted by Roger Wilson from Soarplex in July 2020 indicating that my computer had a “holes” and was leaking information all over Canada. I paid him $646.34 U.S by debit card to get that fixed. Later at the end of July
he called me in and said he needed another $600.00 for program licences and I sent him a cheque for $600.00.
Then in October he called and he needed another $725. 00 for more web services. I have been scammed and I can’t
believe all the money he got from me. I am 76 years old and I can’t afford things like these happening to me. My children would not forgive me if they knew what I did. Is their any way I could recover some of that money from you.
I really have a notion to report this to the news media about how I was caught up in this.

I would appreciate if you would advise me of how I can recover these funds. It is my purpose now to warn people about my experience if I don’t get results. Thank you

Type of a scam Tech Support

An East Indian man contacted me and told me my computer had been hacked. He offered to remote access my computer and fix it. He told me it would cost me 500$ USD. I was having problems with my computer at the time and felt this was legit. I then gave him all my credit card information and he immediately debited my card.
