We recived an invoice from "Sector Pro Services" for 10 cases of copy paper which we did not order. Upon looking up the name, address and phone number of the Company we found that it is fake. The address for the company given was for Long Beach, CA, the envelope it came in was sent from Santa Ana, CA, the phone number listed is a Los Alamitos, CA number and it did not have a voicemail set up, and there was no website. Luckily we very closely keep track of our spending and ordering, so we were on top of it.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Our office received an invoice for products we never ordered from an out-of-state company that we have never heard of and that would not have ordered from as the "company" does not even have a website from which we could have ordered. When I called the phone number provided on the invoice we were sent, I provided the invoice number and immediately said that the invoice was an error and that the invoice had been canceled. There was no way he could have typed in and looked up our information as quickly as he seemed to. I told him to remove our firm’s contact information from their system.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Sector Pro Services sends fake invoices for office products. They sent me a bill for 10 cases of paper for $858.45. When I called the number a man answered and all but admitted it was fake. He initially told me I was wrong and his company sells paper and toner, etc. When I asked him how he does that without a website the phone went silent. He eventually stuttered through "we call people and sell products". I asked for his address they don’t have a physical address. There is no business listing for this company. It’s all fake. They have been reported other times and I sent the invoice to the USPS mail fraud and Attorney General. I guess they prey on medium sized companies that might pay an invoice like that without verifying it.
