Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received an eBay/Walmart survey program instruction letter and cashiers check in the amount of $1967 in my mailbox at home stating that this was my first assignment task. I was to go to the nearest Walgreens, target, CVS pharmacy, Kroger, Best Buy, Safeway, Rite Aid, Dollar General, 7-Eleven, Kmart, Staples, game shop, speedway, GYFT, Vons, Sears. Etc. and by $1600 worth of eBay gift cards. After purchase of cards I was to open the pack and seal the silver scratch off area on the card, and capture image of card front and back, but not discard the card as it will be use for my forthcoming assignment .
