Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was selling my old DSLR camera as a bundle on ebay as an auction starting at $900, with a buy now of $1500. About an hour later I get notified that the item has been bought straight for $1500. Item had not been paid ( I did not select the option on ebay when listing that states the item must be paid immediately with the "buy now option") my mistake. I’m not new to ebay or the scams so I’m doing this mostly as a warning, as this person was located in my state. He requested I provide him my paypal email where he would send me payment including a different method of shipping, (he wanted a 2 day shipping option), which he would pay for extra. I knew this was a scam as soon as he told me he needed my paypal email. When I asked why he didn’t use the ebay pay option for my paypal, he responded with "there’s problems with my account and it’s not letting me make a payment." I kept going with it. I sent him a secondary paypal email that I don’t use but have access to for payment and was honestly hoping he’d send money so I can rob him, I’m no ashamed to say it. Of course they wouldn’t though, and I got an email out of paypal using an email with the .ru extension. It was a replica of a statement from paypal for the order from ebay, payment etc…the works. Looked real. I checked my paypal….NOTHING. I replied back stating I get notifications directly from paypal with no payment and that I’d report the address, email, and situation if I didn’t receive payment :). Just be aware these types of scams people actually fall for, and these businesses are robbing people and sending products overseas from warehouses owned here in the U.S.A.
