Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was refused for a loan by the bank so i went online trying to find a solution. I found cashloaner.ca
They make you fill a bunch of personal info and, if approved you will be contacted by an agent. I got a call 2 days later from Michael Richards ( not Kramer from Seinfeld obviously ) telling me that i didn’t get approved because my score is too low (i checked with equifax and there is no trace of them inquiring my file). At this point i had several options and one of them was 1500$ of "insurance" for my 20000$ loan. Later on, when i got the contract, because yes i got to this point, this person was very professional and convincing so he emailed me the contract to sign. On the contract the sum was 1400$. Some alarms rang in my head, but i still was too captivated with how all of this sounded so legit. it was now 7:00 PM and the guy was still available to take my calls and everything. I told him that i don’t have access to a fax machine to send him the signed contract (and thank God) so, there’s no rush i will do it tomorrow. He then told me that it’s ok, i can send the documents the next day, but the payment must be done TONIGHT WITHIN 1 HOUR and i will get the money tonight around midnight. That was the last drop, i then knew it was a scam. I could of had 1400$ less in my bank account. Be careful guys, they don’t care that it’s the last money you have.
