The individual called me to tell me that I had won a free cruise; however, I was asked to pay for tax fees ($130) for the cruise despite not having booked an actual day to depart or scheduled the cruise whatsoever. After informing the man on the phone that I had googled the company and did not feel comfortable giving out my credit card information, the individual on the phone explained that they had just had a meeting that morning about telling customers it was safer to give their credit card information out over the phone than using a credit card over the internet and pushed me to give my credit card information. At which point I hung up the phone.
