Type of a scam Online Purchase
This company used a Facebook ad to advertise a Keto weight loss product. They included a CNN article that said that Carrie Underwood and Candace Cameron Buree have used this product. At first glance everything looked legit, but after purchasing I had this gut feeling that something wasn’t right, and I shouldn’t have purchased. Later that day I tried looking for the product online or the company’s website, but I couldn’t find anything. I then tried searching for the CNN article, and I still could not find anything. At that point I knew I would be returning the product if I got it, so I emailed the company, and they said they would issue a refund if I returned the package unopened. A couple days later I received the product. The packaging was a dark blue box with a fire symbol it, but the company’s name did not appear anywhere on the package, not even on the shipping label. I already felt very suspicious about this product. Fast forward two weeks, and the company charged my credit card around $80-$90, which was not expressed in the advertising. Luckily our credit card company contacted, and froze our card so that no further purchases could be made. I should have known better, and will not trust any advertising like this one for weight loss pills again.
