Type of a scam Online Purchase

The company New Brilliance Face Cream is operating a scam online with their product. They offer a trial of their product for free where you only have to pay shipping costs of $4.95. They make exaggerated claims about their product and expressly state that in order to reap the full benefits one must use the product for 2 weeks. Within 48 hours a representative will call to attempt to sell you more products. This is a hard sell! I repeatedly told the agent I only wanted to try the product advertised. The agent expressly told me to make sure to use the product for 2 weeks and no less before deciding to use the product. If I cancel after my "trial period" I will not be charged for anything else. I received the product one week after ordering. I begin to use the product. After 1 week I received a charge on my account for $89.95! I contacted the company and was told that the trial period begins the moment you order the product and not when you receive it. Even though they call and tell you to make sure to use the product for 2 weeks before canceling! I asked for my money back because they did not give me the full 2 weeks to try the product before charging me for another months supply! I was told a supervisor would call me back which never happened. I called again and found out my account had not even been canceled when I called the first time! I demanded my account be canceled and finally received a cancellation confirmation number. Very shady! Rip off! The cream is nothing special! It does not do what the advertisements promise. A complete scam!
