Type of a scam Identity Theft
My mother received a call from Emily claiming to be with my mothers credit card company. My mother is 83 years old with dementia. My mother gave all her personal information. We received three credit cards with up to a $15,000 credit limit plus checks in the mail. So my mother gave them permission to speak to them. I tried to call back at 855-858 0787. They wouldn’t talk to me. This was not authorized transaction. I finally spoke to Emily, Summer & then she changed her name to Arial. I advised that would be getting sued. They then hung up the phone on me. I feel this is fraud and I would like this investigated. I do not want this to happen to other people. I will contact S.S. and the credit reporting agencies.
