They called, I didn’t pick. I called back 800-500-2589. I talked to a woman who was Indian. She said she was from the National Treasury. She said something about my Social Security. She had my name. I hung up.

Received a call from a man speaking broken English saying he’s from the National treasury department saying I have legal issue do to law enforcement started. I need to call back or have an attorney call back or it’ll end. Not sure actually I couldn’t understand him, not calling back as I was never sent any official notice through the mail and frankly haven’t broken any laws.

Caller left message on landline – 17705343931 – claiming to be with Natuonal Treasury. Threatened court and possible imprisonment. Called from 13472968147, New York, NY. Left return number – 13472968147. Husband returned call from non-traceable landline. Asked for manager. Was threatened by fraudster to provide personal information. Husband was not compliant so fraudster ended call abruptly. Fraudster is foreign with thick accent.
