Shortly after purchasing my first home I received a mailing from National Record Service, Inc. located at 3375 Commercial Ave, Northbook, Illinois 60062. They promised a cerified copy of the deed to my house for a fee of $69.50. I sent in the check along with the order form enclosed in the mailing. It has been one year and I have not received anything from National Record Service, Inc. I have emailed them and have received no response. I called the number on their advertisement (888-480-2711) and it does not give you the option of talking to a person. Instead, there are numerous advertisements and you have to indicate if you’re interested in the advertisement by pushing a number. Once you have rejected all the advertisements there is no option to speak to someone from National Record Service, Inc. In fact your call will be ended. I tried calling back and tried to remember the prompts to push in order to speed through the advertisements but I got a message stating that I have to listen and respond interested or not interested to the advertisement or else my phone number will be blocked from calling their number. I spent my money and did not receive anything from this phony company. I have wasted my time and energy trying to get in contact with these scam artists without any luck. This is definently a scam to rip people off.
