we purchased a beagle puppy from Nael beagles online on Saturday August 15 to be sent to us on Sunday August 16, the morning of transport the shipper who was not a real company contacted us and said that we needed to pay them a deposit of $ 1400 to be returned to us when the puppy was delivered to us. We contacted the breeder Nael beagles asking them if this was the real shipper and they assured us that it was the real company. We unfortunately believed them and paid them the money. Within the hour we could not reach them and the phone numbers were no longer working and no beagle puppy.
Their website is very well presented…but In hindsight, there are a couple of Obvious red flags: 8 week old Potty trained puppies, no shipping info under the heading of shipping, etc. All easy to overlook when you are so excited To find such pretty beagle puppies.
This is second “Beagle” scam to hit us and neither one made second contact. Reason: I responded asking where they were located because we were So anxious to see the puppies that we would come to them for a “meet and greet”.
So, we were lucky but very sad to learn that crooked people have polluted the simple joy of finding a new puppy.
