Type of a scam Online Purchase

Sept. 8th, 2020, I was told on their website I could get a flashlight and a book for the cost of shipping and handling. I was charged for a "membership" that I did not agree to $39.95. I called their toll free number (which was obtained from my credit card company, different from their website) and was told they would cancel the membership on 9/14/2020. I told them I wanted a refund on the membership. They agreed to give me a refund. They sent me an e-mail showing that agreeing to get the "free case" for the flashlight would sign me up for the membership, printed in very small gray print at the bottom, while all the other print is very large and easy to read. The 39.95 is a monthly fee. I urge everyone to get out your magnifying glass and read every word on these websites. Their membership must be pretty hard to sell for them to be so sneaky in their marketing. Shame on them, targeting people with poor eyesight.
