Type of a scam Phishing
It was a recorded call that spoke very quickly and urgently. It said my SIN number had been associated with some illegal activity and that I was fined and needed to pay the fine in order to avoid jail time. It said if I didn’t hit 1 I would be contacted my authorities and arrested. It was highly stressful and when you think about it over exaggerated and over the top.
