Type of a scam Phishing
Phone Call received 3-26-18. Name on phone: "800 SERVICE". Here is recorded verbal message (almost verbatim). (In a robotic sounding voice.) "Microsoft". Do Not attempt to open your PC to conduct any financial business /services. Your security firewall has been compromised and should not be used without contacting this service phone number, 855- 553-8765."
I did not call. I went to Microsoft online and found a scams section. I did locate the "Firewall Scam" among many others. That article gave me the
bbb.org website. I am not a victim; just reporting an attempt to make me one! P,S, Note They did NOT say "This is Microsoft". Just, "Microsoft".
