Type of a scam Tech Support

March 23,2018 I googled Microsoft customer service, a website popped up customerservicehelpnumber.com. I called this number 844-750-6263. Two Men with Indian accents ghosted my laptop took control of it and said I have malicious activity and needed to take action. After 90 minutes of trouble shooting, they got my name, address, home phone, cell phone, American Express with Security Code to remove 51 drivers @ $3 each. $153. Because I was a senior citizen, I got a discount from $5 each. They knew my age somehow. When they told me how much it would be to fix my computer, I realized it was a scam. $357 for 3 year subscription to Mcafee, $199.99 Two layer Network Securtiy, $153 to remove 51 drivers. Plus $89 in tax. Total invoice with discount $752.58. They sent an invoice to my paypal account.. I luckily deleted invoice, notified PayPal, cancel my American Express and changed all of my passwords. I’m very lucky they weren’t able to get any money out of any of my financial institutions. My laptop is still ghosted and in their control. He said his name was Josh Williams Employer ID HG2534 and his phone 800-901-2403 x101. ScamPulse.com if you could please investigate the website customerservicehelpnumber.com which had the bogus phone number. The Website used by scammer to send an invoice is Rajiv Kumar Sharma- [email protected] (WEB0277SH) Note: there is an intentional space in between the “Sharma-“ and “[email protected]” He said
