Company Name Used: "Memorial Hospital Group"

Names Used:

Jane Mena : 617-487-8322

Sommer Jones: skype/hangout

Hope Green : ms. [email protected]

Isaac Delphine : [email protected]

Scammers Used a real company’s website: https://www.mhs.net/ Memorial Healthcare System • 3501 Johnson Street • Hollywood, Florida 33021 • 954-987-2000

Website has a different name and the receptionist stated that they were not a part of "Memorial Hospital Group"

They conducted virtual job interview, emailed a job offer, then sent a check for me to purchase "office equipment" to gather information about you.

My employment agency were not able to verify these individuals to be who they claimed to be, "hiring mangers, finance officer, hr assistant"

I used ZipRecruiter and they were not able to verify that information as well and advised me to cease communication with them.

I received a message stating my indeed application had been reveiwed and this company (lady claimed her name was JANE MENA) was trying to schedule an interview with me. She told me it was a phone interview (Which i have done before so no red flag there ) and sent me the "Hiring manager" information and ID for the session in which the interview was to take place, The interview was very realistic. I even was provided with new hire paperwork the day after my interview and a supervisor number and name that i can call for any questions and concerns. They never asked me for very much personal information or for me to send them money so i am still not understanding what they would have gotten out of this . They overnighted me a check to buy my "office supplies" in which were to be returned if i ever lost my employment. (made sense ) and they provided me with a physical address Memorial Regional Hospital South

Address: 3600 Washington St, Hollywood, FL 33021

as well as the HR email to contact and the Payroll team.

I was told this was a temporary work from home postion until the office opened in which then i was to report to the building for work. Long story short The check was FRAUD, I took it to THE BANK they issued it from to check for fraud and scam and the woman immediatley took the check along with all new hire paperwork I had. They extent to which these people went to do this was unreal. I am providing some screenshots hoping this helps other people from being involved or recognizing these things.

The same thing happened to me today! I thought I was the only one. Something seemed off when I emailed this “hope green” girl. She changed her email to hopegreen724 or something like that. She sent me a check too and I filed for fraud and I’m about to report it because this is outrageous. I know for a fact that they are now targeting minors. I’m very happy that you wrote this so I could find it. Idk what I would have done if I didn’t see this!
