Woman calling from Medicare back office. She wanted to know if my mother needed a wrist, knee or back brace. I told her that we have not contacted Medicare about any braces such as this nor has a doctor contacted Medicare on her behalf for this. She said thanks and hung up.

Daniel indicated he was calling from Medicare back office. He wanted to know if my mother needed a wrist, knee or back brace. I told him that we have not contacted Medicare about any braces such as this. He also indicated Medicare would be sending a new medicare card in October or as late a January 2021. I asked why he was calling. He said if I did not answer his questions that these braces would show up unexpectedly. I told him that nothing better show up at my address from Medicare because no doctor was prescribing braces for my mother and I nor my mother were authorizing it. Then he said save this password: *********************. I told him this was a joke. Who would ever provide a password like this. As i asked more questions he just got annoyed. I would not answer the questions like they wanted. Anyone be on the look out I figured this was a scam as I told him this.
