Type of a scam Online Purchase
I somehow came across this web page with the heading Entertainment Today and the article title, "We Say Goodbye To "TODAY’s" Golden Girl Savannah Guthrie…". It was an article about skin care products that Savannah is promoting and a free sample offer if one pays the shipping. I don’t know why… the signs were there now that I looked back… and I succumbed and entered my info to get the free sample. I got an order number and arrival date, but no email confirmation. Then I got suspicious and stated to look it up… and am pretty sure that I was scammed.
I changed all my important passwords and am now reporting here.
I don’t know yet if I will suffer any ramifications.
