I have been loocing for a Maincoon cat for my wife. I liked one on this site, needless to say after I sent the $850, they then sent me an email about a 1,200 dollar full refundable insurance. I followed the link which brought me to a site called best pet movers. Which seemed odd as that wasnt the name on the link. Then I did some digging and couldnt find anything that added up. So I asked them a bunch of questions which werent adequately answered. Then I noticed the number of contact on the site had changed. Hope this is useful for someone else to avoid this scam.

Was trying to by a main coom kitten for my wife, this was the one I chose. I sent them the money $850.
Then I got a message about needing a full refundable 1,200 for insurance on shipping the cat. The email looked wrong, and when I clicked on the link it brought me to a totally different site. I then searched more items and nothing seemed legit. So I brought up a bunch of questions regarding this added fee. Which got me no reply. Then I noticed the phone number on the web site changed. So Im out some money, but it could have been so much worse.

He refused to FaceTime with me so that I could see the kitten and him in person. Then he refused to answer my phone calls. He kept making awkward excuses to why he couldn’t text me after I had sent him the money!

Woman advertised Maine [censored] Kittens For Sale at $650 each. I inquired and made a purchase of one. I transferred money to her via Walmart and she said she would have a shipping receipt for me. She then proceeded to say she would have it last night at 7 pm but then Blocked me on all forms of communication. She sent me names and a picture that is supposedly her.
