Type of a scam Online Purchase
My small company was contacted via my website with a request to purchase a rather large order of product. $610.00 of merchandise. My website states that I only ship to the continental US, but they were insistant that they love my product and would like to purchase my items for their store in Poland. They stated they had a freight forwarder they use routinely that would take care of all the required paperwork, customs, etc. without any hassles.
After providing an estimate for the product and shipping, they then said they wanted me to contact their freight forwarder for a quote. I found a local ‘well known’ shipping company that estimated $347.00. I contacted their company per request, (LogNet Global Freight Forwarder
