Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I received a call from this number 01/16/2017 at 1511. I pressed 0 to have my number removed from the call list. When I was transferred to the ‘representative’ he said he could not remove my number. When I asked to speak to his supervisor the first time he stated he was not available. I asked how long I’d hold and he chuckled stating more than a minute. I asked for his name and ID# he stated he could not give me that information if I was not interested in their offer. When I stated I was interested he said I needed to verify my personal information. I refused and he told me he already had it. I began to question how he got it and he said Experian. I called his bluff and asked to speak to his supervisor again. He said for me to speak to the supervisor he said he needed my credit card number before I could proceed. I told him he was full of it and he hung up on me. I had someone else call the number and it is the number of a local guy here in Gainesville so someone spoofed his number as well.
