I saw a great deal on a Honda CRV. I FB Messaged for details, and got an email back telling all about it. She had lost her spouse 2 months prior and was training to head out of the country, as she was in the military. It was his car she was selling. Seling cheap because she had to get rid of it before she left on May 17.
Offered to have it shipped to my house for free, let me drive it up to 5 days before a decision had to be made. If I didn’t want it they would take it back at no charge to me. Made a point to say she was in the Ebay Buyer Protection Program (which doesn’t exist).
So at that point I knew it was a scam. I lost no money,but I did give my name, address, and phone number. And they have my email, which has since blocked them.
I did actually get an invoice from EBay Motors, which I also blocked.
