Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
They first contacted me through my school’s email (don’t know where do they get my email from) and congrats me on being accepted to participate in their program. They send me the package to my house (again, for some reason, they got my address) that includes the instruction and the FAKE CHECK! I already knew that was a scam at the beginning, simply by going online and search for some similar case with the same tricks <span title="(https://www.nbc12.com/story/37113691/man-targeted-by-walmart-secret-shopper-scam-wants-to-warn-others/).

Thus, I went ahead, pretended that I’m listening and following their instructions and led them through all the steps that I might need to inform you. After collecting enough evidence, I will provide this to the authorized people and lets them stop this scam.
