Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

The scammer wanted to buy my piano. The scammer requested to: please remove Craigslist, I will pay you what you ask, I have been looking for this… Scammer sent cashiers check with added amount for movers for me to pay once the movers arrived. Once I cashed check and payment was (what I thought) cleared from the bank, he requested that the movers wanted to have part of the money before making appointment for moving piano. Requested cash via Moneygram, or Western Union. Money gram refused me, so I went to Western Union and pushed my agenda to send them money. This is where I should have had red flags but again, check cleared…

The next day (after they picked up initial $900 for movers) they requested another $500 saying the movers wanted full amount, this is when I began to ask questions and I knew I had been scammed.
