Type of a scam Tech Support
Male with heavy foreign accent ID him self as an "Authorized Micro Soft Support Facility" and claimed "M-S Windows" on my computer was damaged and needed to be re-loaded with my computer OP system.
Would not provide Tax ID number or any other info.
Caller ID had name as Cary Sommer 308 872 6983, reverse directory had location as Century Link Land Line in Callaway NE
Was very aggressive and insistant – possibly Ransom Ware Scam – with money demand at later time but not up front. Access denied, asked for more info that would help ICE. Refused to answer how much would be charged.
