Caller called that light would be disconnected at the service address and it would be disconnected within an hour. They gave me a work order number and directed to an extension. Guy tells me to go to Kroger, CVS, Walgreens or 7-11 and pick up a money pak (green card) pay an amount and call him back with the express card payment.

Got a call saying he was a service technician and the business light bill was due. That he need to take a payment if not our light was going to be turned off that day. That we had received a "disconnection bill" when our account is up to date.

On CPS Website they have posted they will never call to receive a payment over the phone.

The guy called said his name was Anthony Mills. They have a fake number set up to when you call it says CPS Energy with an automated machine. Yet they have an "assistant" who directs peoples call when call. Do not give these people your info.

The number read as "Unavailable" on the caller ID. I was told that they were calling from CPS Energy and that our power was to be shut off. I was told that if anyone called saying this, I was to tell them to come shut it off then hang up the phone. The gentleman (I use that term lightly) promptly called back saying he needed to speak with the owner/manager on duty. I informed them that boss was unavailable and he told me to, "stop *** *** *** *** and put him on the *** phone." I was also threatened saying that they would come to kill me and blow up my establishment. He then hung up the phone and I was not contacted again.
