They Robo call everyday from different numbers, I am on the do not call list, have blocked and blocked the numbers from them. But every day they call from new numbers. Say that my Car Warranty needs to renewed. I have a 2014 KIA with a 10 year warranty or mileage which come first. I tell them to stop calling daily and they continue to call. They are all from India. I tell them that I do not have a car warranty with them and they continue to call .

We received several calls over the last few days trying to inform us our car warranty is expiring. (We don’t have one) it was a recorded message and this morning I listened and finally talked to someone. They wanted year/make/model of my car. I said “ I want you to tell me what it is since I don’t have one”. They immediately hung up and the phone number is disconnected now.

I received a call from someone that said I called, I didn’t. I mentioned I hope my number wasn’t being used for a scam. Today, the person called back and said she got another call from my number saying they were a car warrantyservice and that it probably was a scam. I reported this to my phone company, Hawaiian Telcom and they told me to report to BBB.org. What do I do now?

They call me about 5 times daily at least. They are offering extended car warranties. I don’t even have the vehicle they are trying to offer me coverage for. I have asked at least 10 times that they stop calling me. Each time they argue with me telling me that i need this coverage. I even spoke with a manager once and although i was being polite he told me i was being rude and hung up on me.

My phone rang with an unrecognizable phone #. I answered and a recording instantly started, before I even said "hello". It said the warranties on my vehicle were expired or about to expire. It said for more information, please press 1. I could tell this was a scam because the first of my two truck warranties doesn’t expire for at least another two years. I pressed 1, just to see what kind of scam it was so I could report it to you.

After pressing 1, a man answered and you could tell by the way he talked, that he wasn’t actually from a legitimate business. He even said the call was for a name that isn’t mine. When I asked who the name was again, he hung up. So obviously he hung up, knowing I was on to him. He hung up before trying to scam money from me.

This company has repeatedly called my telephone number. I have blocked the number and yet messages are still left on my voicemail. I called two weeks ago and told them to take me off the call list. Automated message says your car warranty has expired and you are receiving a courtesy call before your file is closed. Message then asks if you’d like to speak to a customer service representative to renew your vehicle’s warranty. The customer service rep will ask you to confirm the year, make, and model of your car. I asked the rep to clarify which vehicle they were calling about since I have 3 vehicles. The rep said they are calling about "a year 2007 or newer car with less than 100,000 miles." Told the rep all 3 cars were newer than 2007 with less than 100,000 miles and asked for further clarification. The call was then ended abruptly. ***SCAM***650- 481-3912

The number that came up on my phone was: 4053316017 On 11-20-2017 at 2:06 pm. They ask me 3 questions about my car. I answered them. He said I had answered them wrong and he would have to transfer me to the supervisor. The supervisor told me I needed to renew my warranty on my car. I told him no and that I wanted them to quit calling me about this. They had called a lot of times already and I had kept telling them no and that I wanted them to quit calling then I would hang up. But they have kept calling. They use different numbers when they call. When I told him to quit calling this time he said that I had to activate the warranty in order for them to quit calling. He told me the car might break down and I would need help then. I told him my children would help me if that happen. He said my children probably wouldn’t heip. That’s when I hung up this time. Most of the time I watch the numbers and do not answer the phone, but was looking for a call this afternoon from the repair man and thought this might be it.

I received non-stop calls from these numbers on both of my family’s cell phones all day today, 1/27/17. It was a robocall saying a car warranty had expired. Unfortunately, not having heard about the say "yes" scam until researching the numbers online tonight, when asked if I wanted to speak to a representative regarding car warranties I said "yes" in hopes of getting a live person that could remove me from the calling list. The call immediately disconnected. As I understand the say "yes" scam is intended to extort money from individuals by claiming they gave verbal authorization for something, such as purchase of a service or product, when in fact they never did. I’m filing this report to document today’s calls should this be an issue and am reporting the caller(s) as having taken money since there is the possibility they will do so.

Person will call you from a local number claiming your car warranty is expired even if it is not true. They claim to have gotten your information from your car dealer even though they didn’t. They will call multiple times from different numbers stating all sorts of reasons you need a car warranty when you really don’t. Was advised by my car dealership that this is a scam and to never participate.
