Type of a scam Charity
I received a letter in the mail claiming I had pledged money to the Breast Cancer Relief Network and to send a check along with the pledge form back to them. I had not pledged any money to them but looked them up online to see who they were. The charity claims to help with counseling support to breast cancer patients and their families. When I looked this charity up online, there were numerous reports of either 3 cents on the dollar being used for this purpose or that it was an outright scam. These reports are from all over the country.
