I received an email via the contact form on my website informing me that I had been selected as the 2018 Best of Batavia winner in the social assistance category. It stated that the “award was created to acknowledge the best businesses in our community.” There was a link to a website along with a claim code that was needed to claim the award: a $150 plaque. The website stated that the recognition was free but that the recipient needed to pay to receive the actual reward.
