I paid 560.00 to Capital Reassurance and even received a letter from them stating that my “WEBLOAN” (for EZ Money) had been paid in full. NOW, I’m getting ANOTHER CALL from another company stating that I still owe EZ Money! This HAS to be a scam! I am going to take my paper to Court and tell them that I was a victim of a SCAM and that I shouldn’t owe ANY MORE MONEY TO ANYONE!
I recieved a phone call today stating that I have a debt with a cash loan in 2015 that has been sent to them for collection. I asked where this supposed loan originated from and the lady stated that I would be notified by mail of my court date and I can explain to a judge and have a good day…not to mention, they had my full social security number. I called back and the same lady answered. I stated that I want the information based on what they were referring to and she hung up on me. The number calling me was 864-712-9481. I have NEVER taken out any type of check cashing or payday loans…
They called my parents and tried to tell me I owed money on loans that were written off on my bankruptcy. I told them I have proof its on my bankruptcy, and they attempted to get VERY ugly. I then referred them to the attorney I used in my bankruptcy case, and told my elderly parents to just block the numbers and refuse to speak with them. This company is a SCAM!

I received a call from Barbara Simpson from Capital Reassurance stating that I owed money for a past dept. She threatened me that I was getting ready to be served papers from court on the dept I owed. I set up the arrangements thinking this company was legit and asked for a copy of the bill and an email with the payment arrangements we had agreed on. The next day I got an email with the payment arrangements however there was not a copy of the bill from the debtor. I went on line looking up Capital Reassurance and discovered that this company was a scam. I contacted Barbara and asked her for a copy of my bill from the debtor and she informed me that my payment arrangement was being revoked because I was asking for a copy of my bill and according to her I had no rights to see that bill. I had to cancel my card to keep from them drawing money out. I also asked her where their company was located out of and instead of giving me a straight answered she stated they have several location. Each time she called me it was from a different phone number using area codes 304, 301 depending on what location she was calling me at. They contacted a family member who I have no association with and I have the slightest clue how they got their phone number as well as my work trying to get in contact with me.

I got a call from Heather Daniels at Capital Reassurance saying I owe a debt from a loan in 2015.Then we got a call from Anna at Capital Reassurance who said we owed $350, but with their fees it was over $1100, but if I settle today with my debit or credit card, she would take $350 and wouldn’t call anymore. She sounds African American. She said if I didn’t pay it today, they would file a judgment against me in Hocking County. I haven’t lived in Hocking county for four years. She said they would send wage garnishment papers to my employer. I told her to send me the paperwork and I would look it over. We’ve never gotten anything in writing from them. I called back on my husband’s cell phone, and spoke to a guy, and asked for their address, he wouldn’t give it to me without a case number. She had my prior address and the last four digits of my social security number. She disagreed with me when I told her I was married.

I was called by woman this morning named Barbara she told me that I owed a debt back from 2013 and she was going to take a statement on the matter. She said that the company that is seeking payment is not listed but wanted to see if I wanted to take care of it today or what I wanted to do about it. So I told her that I did not take out a payday loan at the end of 2013 and after we hung up I had a few additional questions so I tried to call her back. She did not answer and she has yet to call me back about anything which seems odd for someone who is a debt collector. She did not give me an amount of the debt because I told her that I did not take out a loan and that if they wanted to go ahead and take me to court to send me court paperwork because I had not taking out the loan and I will fight it. She didn’t ask for my address or anyting like that to be able to send me court paperwork.

A man called from Capital Reassurance called from 765-770-0069 and 234-815-0428 called. He said I took out a payday loan in Ohio and didn’t pay it back. He told me I could pay $375.00 to take care of it today, or he would have to send all of my information to Jeffersonville County Court.He was very ignorant and rude. He asked me if I knew what a lender is. I asked him to prove that I owe the debt. he said you just need to take care of this today, or the county will service you. I said let the county serve me.

The person name was Phillip Carpenter he said first then he said Phillip Clark. When I asked him from where it was he couldn’t tell me he answered the phone with just a hello. He said I had two loans and one was paid off and the other wasn’t then changed it to the two loans was one said my lone was paid off but it’s a third party that’s in the fine print. Informed him I needed the information I don’t recall he read a address off I informed him I don’t live there he said still talking then when I informed that I would not be paying anything I don’t have proof of he asked for me to send my bank Acct to show proof I told him send me the information and we will take it from there he said okand slammed the phone down. He never got my address or correct phone number or anything cause he contacted a relative and this something he trying to speak on in 2006
