Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
These people trying this scam have tried several times. I will get an email or text from someone asking me if I accept credit cards. The language in the email typically does not sound like normal English. After I inform them that I do accept credit cards the person will say that they have 20 or so computers that they want refurbished and new Windows software installed. At that point I inform them that a project of that size requires me to have the customer bring the card by personally as well as show an ID in order for me to take on their project. After that it always ends.
