Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This was a traditional prepaid card scam; send a check to the consumer to deposit from a legitimate credit union. Purchase 4 reloadit prepaid cards, send the card numbers to the scammers and keep the remainder of the funds. Check comes back fraudulent out the funds as the cards have been cleans and no funds in the savings acount. It was not BestMark, but someone mimicking them, I was just stupid enough and had by one of hte oldest scams in the book. I know there is no way to get my money back, and learned a very harsh lesson that anyeon can be scammed, I should have known better.
