Type of a scam Tech Support
I was contacted by phone on Oct/01/2015, by a man, with a thick East Indian accent, stating the my computer had been hacked. He said that the excessive malware in my computer was infecting the servers he was in charge of.
he stated he was with Windows security services and that he could fix the problem. I said to go ahead and take care of it.
After about 2 hours he called me back and said they were done, and that all the malware was removed. I then received an invoice from American Tech Support for $350.00. In order to pay this invoice I was to with draw cash from my bank and send it to him via Western Union. I had my computer checked. They stated that nothing had been done, and the malware was still imbedded in the computer. the only addition were two cleaning programs, both attainable for no charge on the internet. "Cscan, and Event checker"
