Type of a scam COVID-19
This bogus company advertises on Facebook selling face masks to protect against Covid-19. It also advertises itself as a "veteran-owned" company. I ordered a facemask for $31.95 on facebook, luckily I used PayPal for payment. This company sent me a confirmation email with a tracking number that turned out to be useless, just saying that it had shipped from China. I tried to contact the company via the website but had no luck. Later, they sent an email from another address and included the email address "[email protected]" to contact them as they claimed they had technical problems, and then that they had changed their website to a .net address. I told them to refund my money and they started trying to bargain with me, the first time they offered me a 30% discount for the current and a future purchase. The second time they told me the item had been lost but another had been mailed and if I could wait 10-14 days; and could not refund my money because they had expenses such as shipping, overhead, website maintenance and others – yes, they said that – and tried to offer me a 50% discount. I refused. I disputed the charge with PayPay, who refunded my money. Do not fall for this scam.
