Type of a scam Employment
I got an email from Indeed.com about a potential work at home offer from a pharmaceutical company based out of Australia. Of course it was too good to be true. They stated that I could choose my own hours and that they would provide me with all this office equipment of course free of charge. The scammer even used the company’s legitimate website and Linkedin account. They supposedly sent a check that I was to deposit and then pay for my own equipment. Anyhow long story short I called the bank to make sure there were funds because I didn’t want to commit a crime, trying to deposit a bad check. The teller at the bank stated it was fraudulent. Go figure!!!
