Type of a scam Government Grant
On Wednesday morning (Sept 2, 2020) I received a call from someone who said that they were from "Canada Benefits for Seniors." They tried to confirm my age and then my address. They knew my address and I told them that it was incorrect. They disputed my answer based on "their records." I asked for their name, address and phone number and then they politely ended the conversation while I was telling them to "take a hike." I informed the local police immediately.
